Our client is a NATA and ISO certified consultancy, with Headquarters located inPerth, that services the mining, oil and gas, industry, and government across Australia. They are specialists in providing occupational hygiene, environment, hazmat and training support and solutions for our client base.
They are looking for experienced hygiene consultants in WA. Ideally, they will be members of the AIOH who have the relevant state required certifications / licences.
The role
- Conducting health and hygiene risk assessments.
- Creating health and hygiene management plans.
- Experience and skills in the operation and execution of industry related equipment e.g. for fibre, dust, weld fume and volatile organic compound sampling.
- Conducting noise surveys and noise dosimetry.
- Project management skills: planning, preparing, & executing hygiene monitoring programmes.
- Experience in researching occupational hygiene issues and providing pragmatic solutions to our clients.

- High degree of flexibility with working arrangements, site travel according to client requirements is required (FIFO)

Qualifications (essential)
- Degree qualified (ideally in hygiene) and working towards or achieved a post graduate qualification in occupational hygiene.
- Surface Ventilation Officer (SVO).
- DMIRS Registered Sampler No#.
- Noise Officer Certificate.
Qualifications (desirable)
- Other qualifications in a science or related discipline.
- Cert IV in Training & Assessment.
- Full Membership with the Australian Institute of Occupational Hygienists (AIOH) and a desire to become a Certified Occupational Hygienist. Provisional membership will be considered.
- State based certification as required.
