Remote friendly (preferably can work PST/EST timezone).
Full-time (40 hours a week)
You'll be working closely with the CEO as the first executive hire in the sales team.
You identify as a self-starter who has successfully built a sales function from scratch and is looking to do it again. You are looking for an opportunity where you can make a huge impact and help shape the future of a company.
You'll be diving into the tech world and interacting daily with prospects from fast-growing startups to established industry leaders.
Job Responsibilities
Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
Collaborate with the founder to further develop go-to-market strategies and build out new sales channels
Lead the outbound sales development strategies and executions with the help of a sales operations specialist and a junior SDR
Manage the full sales cycle from discovery calls to strategy presentations (with the help of the founder and the research team) to closing.
Help us develop and improve sales collaterals such as outreach email templates, sales call scripts, proposal documents, pitch decks, etc.
Maintain a robust and clean sales CRM to keep an active read on deal flow
Gather market feedback and intelligence through sales calls, analyze the sale pipeline and help us iterate on our product/market fit. Create and articulate compelling value propositions around IntVentures’ services
Build out a comprehensive and informative sales reporting system and develop sales forecasting for the sales funnel
Set the foundation for building and growing a great sales team
What We're Looking for in a Candidate
Having worked at an early-stage startup as the first hire and successfully helped the startup scale up its revenue and sales team in an enterprise / high-ticket sales environment
You can think strategically and develop sales processes at a high level and can effectively execute your strategies on a low level. You lead by example.
You’re an expert in doing outbound and generating leads effectively. You deeply understand A/B testing and iterations.
You have experience hiring and coaching a top-performing sales team.
Expert experience with CRMs, pipeline management, KPIs, and forecasting.
A self-starter with the mindset to continuously improve
Previous experience in corporate development, M&A, private equity, or venture capital is a plus
