Job Description
SAP Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD aka WVD) Engineer Lead
Implement and manage networking and storage for AVD
Create managed pooled and personal VDI host pools.
Publish SAP business applications and desktops and access provision to business users.
Monitor performance Remote Desktop Services using options such as Microsoft Log Analytics in Azure and/or SCOM.
Execute operations and provide operational support for functions relating to Remote Desktop Services Virtualization and WVD group itself.
SAP GUI 7.7 and associated patches etc.
SAP AFO Next Version and annual upgrade
Keep SAP IBP add-in updated Bi-Annually
Control-M GUI Updates after upgrades (happening soon)
SAP Hana Studio Migration from RDS
Adobe LiveCycle Designer addition to AVD RD
Updated Support and deployment processes within ALM processes
Operational / deployment documentation Runbooks and Guides Driven by AVD and SAP SME's
Investigate feasibility to include Tableau and Excel SAP add-in SAC (SAP Analytical Cloud)
Centralized SAP AVD Software, guide, and runbooks team site
