Corporate Communications Associate III

Summary:

We are looking for someone who leads execution of internal processes and tracking tools to ensure a high level of organizational alignment, communication, and delivery of Climate Ops's comms (internal and external), thought leadership, and advocacy objectives

Responsibilities:

• Supports design and leads maintenance and xfn utilization of core Climate Ops multimedia content (slides, images, publications, animations, visualizations)
• Coordinates regular internal newsletter to share updates on Climate Ops and Google decarbonization work, key landings and mentions, and relevant external developments
• Tracks external mentions of Google's clean energy and climate initiatives and stays up to date on relevant current events and industry thought leaders, e.g. govt officials, corporate leaders, NGO and academic experts, and other influencers within the energy, environment, and global climate action space.

Skills/ Education/ Experience:

• Education: Bachelors
• Total years experience in what industry, discipline or responsibility: 5+ years project management experience, 3+ years energy or climate experience
• Skills or processes candidates must have to be considered for role:
• Project management, visual content creation, (e.g. slides, images, templates, visualizations, etc).
• Leads coordination with external event organizers on scheduling, logistics, travel, etc for agreed upon event engagements.
