Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for an Accountant to join our prestigious client who work closely for city/town councils and governments.
Our client is a local practice that has been established for over 20 years and have carved out a niche for themselves within the accounting world.
The successful Accountant will be qualified or working towards a professional qualification.
Travelling across the UK is required for this role, mileage and over night stays are accommodated for.
Before applying please ensure you are able to travel across the country when needed.

Description
The successful Graduate Trainee Accountant for this role will get exposure to the following key duties:
- Cashbook and Bank Reconciliation
- Purchase Invoicing
- Credit Control and Debt Chasing
- Income & Invoicing
- Debtors and Creditors reporting
- VAT, PAYE, CIS, and Statutory Returns
- Management Accounts
- End of Year Financial Statements
- Annual Returns
- Auditors Queries
- VAT partial exemptions computations
Requirements
The Successful Applicant
- AAT Level 3 or above and holds or working towards higher professional qualifications
- Experience with Auditing a range of sized businesses.
- Holds a full clean uk driving license.
