We are looking for a Consumer Insights and Digital Analytics Lead based in Kuala Lumpur. You will extract and derive insights from internal and external data sources to help shape strategy and identify opportunities. You must like both the art and science of media; and can work with numbers and data to derive great analysis and insights. This is a senior role whose impact goes beyond just the line function and shapes thinking across the organisation.

In this role, you will:
Be the voice of the consumer using data and analytics and be a strategic thinking partner of both the Brand and Media teams
Be an architect, analyst, and storyteller to drive data-actionable insights enabling the optimization of campaigns and brand performance across all our client portfolios.
Drive the interpretation of the results to go beyond what and identify why and how to solve
Complex data points converted into simple & succinct stories
Develop business hypotheses collaboratively with the brand and media teams (business development, account management, marketing) using data from both in-house and third party sources
Apply quantitative techniques to mine digital data and extract impactful insights that influence strategy
Actively collaborate with the rest of the teams to develop business-ready insights & presentation that drive potential partnerships
Analyse and report the business performance: monitor key metrics and identify critical pain points or potential opportunities
Build & manage self-help dashboards
Partner with the Media team on the ideation of metrics and report to provide better insights on business performance and campaign performance

You will independently manage key clients with a focus on the overall scope of delivery, quality and operational performance, reaction to industry trends and ensuring plans map back to client objectives against the maxims of on-time, on-brief, on-budget.

Roles & Responsibilities
Leading research, strategy, planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns across social media, website, email marketing, analytics, paid media, SEO and SEM
Bringing the consumer understanding to marketing decision-making by executing market analysis and research to provide insights and recommendations
Applying an understanding of creative platforms, analytics, social listening, web crawls, paid amplification, paid data, reporting and mobile applications
Supporting the performance marketing team with paid media oversight and client consultation, with the ability to react and optimise media spending according to the data
Demonstrating an understanding of integrated communications marketing and managing integrated projects with a focus on digitizing the transformation of projects through digital
Driving an audience-first and data-driven approach to managing creative output for digital platforms, in collaboration with the creative team
Staying up to date with industry trends, competitor activity and the latest innovations

Requirements


At least 8 years of relevant experience in digital marketing and/or related fields, including digital campaign management, integrated campaign management, digital media, digital consulting etc
Hands-on experience developing insights from social listening (e.g Meltwater, Talkwalker, Brandwatch etc) and consumer insights tools (e.g Global Web Index, Statista etc).
Detailed understanding of social analytics across channels with the ability to synthesize data from many sources into actionable insights
Experienced working within a broader digital marketing ecosystem (including search, content, media buying, partnerships, demand generation, CRM, and B2B marketing) with the aptitude to develop additional skills
Familiar with best-practice integrated digital marketing communications tactics and tools and the ability to appropriately recommend them to clients
Ability to manage a spectrum of large to small projects, and multi-task on high-impact accounts
