Trainee Estimator

We have a brand new role for a Trainee Estimator based in Billericay or Shifnal to support our existing Estimating team. The overall aim this role is to help Ground Control to win the right work at the right price always!

This exciting commercial role will help the team to develop tenders by gathering information and obtaining prices as well as eventually starting to prepare bids.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator looking for a change into a more commercial role. Whatever your background will need a good head of numbers including manipulating data within Excel.

In addition you will need;

• Strong analytical and numeracy skills

• Strong Excel experience

• Great attention to detail and focus on accuracy

The person .

In addition you will have;

Excellent analytical, writing and presentation skills with the ability to shape written solutions independently

Excellent commercial skills, with a good working understanding of frameworks /contract and risk management.

Demonstrable experience of understanding and developing service solutions in an efficient manner.

A track record of success in winning and retaining service industry based accounts

Strong stakeholder management skills

A hands on approach to your work you will rarely have the opportunity to delegate!
