project Manager – SAP

Job Description:

Job Title: project Manager SAP

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: Full Time

Responsibilities:

Coordinate with project teams and Customer to ensure timely and cost-effective sequencing and execution of critical path milestones across inter-dependent projects/ activities within assigned program and overall portfolio

Establish Program Governance and Controls structures to enable effective escalation and decision-making processes.

Cultivate collaborative partnership among stakeholders to enable scoping, financial and resource decisions

Identify, document, and elevate cross-organizational and vendor-driven dependencies, and work with executives and peers across the organization to develop and implement appropriate dependency management processes

Identify and manage assessment of major changes to scope, schedule and budget through the appropriate Program and Enterprise governance approval mechanisms

Hire and mentor project team and matrixed team members, provide guidance on adherence to the Project Management practices.

Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program execution and work with relevant stakeholders to monitor mitigation plan

Develop and maintain required program management artifacts and ensure that all projects have appropriate project management artifacts and processes in accordance with Project Management standards

Identify efficiencies and present recommended improvement opportunities at various levels of management.

Must have skills:

Must have managed multiple SAP projects/ Program

Good knowledge of SAP Supply Chain management and Inventory Management

Strong project and program management skills

Strong focus on collaboration, team building, and customer service

Highly motivated and self-directed

Strong customer service orientation.

Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it.

Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.

Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project),

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience

Active, PMP other Certification is plus
