Job Title: Software Test Engineer

Location: Chaska, MN (Onsite)

Job Type: 12+Months Contract / Full Time

Job Description:

• Refine and come up with verification strategy for the PBI (Product backlog item /user stories).
• Create new test case and maintain existing test cases.
• Maintaining the Nightly Support suites
• Should be able to monitor the nightly runs of the test cases against the master branch.
• Should be able to find the root of the failure by narrowing down to pull request.
• Should be able to reproduce and fix the bug if requires.
• Proficient in defining the bug and root cause analysis.
• Code reviews.
• Participate to Feature refinements and contribute in peer testing.
• Release management
• Should be able to work with multiple global teams.
• Test reports and version controlling.
• Report and test protocol review and upload to the version control for documentations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field with no less than 6 years of experience, or a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field with no less than 4 years of experience
• Experience designing and developing embedded solutions on Linux platform, in programming languages C, C++.
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to interface with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in source control management systems; SVN and GIT is a plus.
• Understanding of software development processes for a regulated environment (ISO9000/FDA) a plus.
• Experience in medical device design & development a plus.
