Location: Cincinnati, OH (Can be Remote)

Duration: Through June 2023 + Extensions

We prefer candidates in Cincinnati and currently our work from home policy is: 2 days in person required at our downtown office. We will, however, entertain remote consultants in the EST time zone.

BUSINESS NEED/OPPORTUNITY

The Data and analytics department is on the second year of our enterprise data initiative Ethos. We are working on populating our enterprise data warehouse with the bank's data in 2023. This opportunity is to help identify key foundational data sets and their source, to help define critical data and partner with the data engineering team to bring key product and services data(foundational data) into our data warehouse.

PURPOSE FOR THE REQUEST FOR QUOTE

A. Responsibilities

As a data analyst, work with the Sr. Enterprise data steward, business data stewards and software engineering teams to identify data domains, sub-domains and critical data elements for our products and services (foundational data sets)

Query and profile data to understand the best source for data.

Understand and define data quality checks in partnership with the data steward.

Provide documented data requirements (in an agile fashion) to the data team building the pipelines to pull the data into the warehouse.

Test data in the EDW to ensure data quality is good and the data pipelines are tested.

B. Required Skills

Strong knowledge of SQL to be able to write complex queries

SQL Server or similar relational databases. Azure experience is a plus. Ability to understand stored procedures.
