- In charge of a team of software engineers toworkon projects;
- Collecting and analyzing software requirements for warehouse management systems (WMS) and/or warehouse control systems (WCS);
- Familiar withthe customers work procedures and methods based on the requirements specifications;
- Engage with the development team to verify that all needs are met;
- Communicate with the PLC team or a third party company especially in the event of an interface with the other software;
- Create test cases, test plans, and test methods;
- Oversee the WMS/WCS softwares installation, system integration, and testing;
- Ensure the quality of the work during the project;
- Verify that all flaws or bugs are fixed;
- Make sure the projects are completed successfully, on schedule, and within the allotted budget.
Requirements
- A minimum Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or any equivalent field;
- At least 7 years working experience in software development using Java programming language with not less than 3 years experience in WMS / WCS;
- Working experience inAutomated Material Handling System (AMHS) is preferred but not required;
- Good understanding of HTML5, Angular JS, JEE 7, JPA/EJB 3.1, REST API, and Microservices in Spring Boot;
- Familiar with databases: Oracle and SQL Server;
- An extra advantage includes having knowledge of Oracle Weblogic, Wildfly, Maven, Eclipse IDE, and Jenkins CI;
- Familiar withrelational database architecture and real-time programming;
- Solid problem-solving and development capabilities with hands-on experience;
- An independent thinker with a strong feeling of responsibility and accountability;
- Active in the team and customer-oriented;
- Capable of maintaining priorities and meeting demanding deadlines;
- Being open to last-minute domestic and international travel;
- Fluency in both written and spoken English; understanding of Mandarin is a plus but not required.
