Job Description

This job requires travel both Domestic and International.
o Must possess or be eligible for issuance of a passport.
o Must be allowed entry to Canada and Mexico.

Must be able to diagnose thermoforming and cold forming material behaviors, sealing issues, perforating, and die cutting.
Must be able to read schematics and utilize them to wire per the drawings as well as troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues.
Must have solid mechanical assembly skills able to utilize Solid works and CAD drawings to independently assemble components.
Must be able to describe their activities to customers onsite as well as in written reports.
Able to diagnose and correct issues with vibratory hoppers, pick and place feeders, flood feeders, and dedicated tubular feeders.
Able to work with our vision team on the installation of and troubleshooting of vision equipment.




Requirements

Education and Training:

a) High School diploma required. An associate degree in an electrical / mechanical field is desired.

b) Candidate must have 3-5 years of experience in a related automation industry. Experience in FDA-regulated environment preferred. Experience with Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation products a plus.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
  • Have an aptitude for Electro-Mechanical systems and have an understanding of pneumatics, industrial controls including (PLC, HMI and servo systems) and machine wiring.
  • Troubleshoot/ modify PLC code, HMI code and servo code as well as modify PLC and HMI code under the direction of engineering.
  • Travel up to 70% in support of installation, startup and service of automated packaging machines
  • Ability to read/update schematic diagrams and BOMs
  • Assist with R&D efforts
  • Participate / Lead in Factory Acceptance Testing
