Winter Internship, Remote (Data scientist in the Quantitative Analysis market making team)

As a follow-up to OANDA, Richard Olsen founded Lykke in 2015 to remain at the edge of emerging technologies applied to financial markets.

Lykke has multiple arms, operating a crypto exchange, offering software as a service product, and acting as a market maker/liquidity provider on multiple trading venues, to name a few.

The Role: data scientist in the quantitative analysis team responsible for market-making activities.

Your role is to assist the quants in the design and implementation of analytical tools to process and draw insights from historical and real-time market data.

Tasks

• Collect insights through statistical analysis of large and varied datasets
• Build scripts to automate data extraction and visualization
• Perform bespoke data analysis on our research projects

Requirements

• Background in computer science, mathematics or statistics
• Familiarity with the data science ecosystem in python or R
• Knowledge of Linux and ability to work in the terminal environment
