Description:
- Performs basic product design, testing and/or analysis work for a defined portion of a project.
- Operates in a team environment, providing input to design solutions and participating in design reviews.
- Develops recommendations within established guidelines; work and decisions are reviewed by supervisors before implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Produce and/or evaluates possible design solutions that meet product requirements for cost, quality and performance based on knowledge of engineering applications while working within a cross-functional team.
- Apply existing applications to routine problems.
- Analyze assignments and determine engineering specifications which must be fulfilled for routine problems or projects.
- Compile and furnish necessary information to document the design solution required for building of prototypes and adoption of the design into production (engineering decisions, reports, part drawings and bill-of-material).
- Learn and apply company engineering policies and practices; learn about company products.
- Support development and execution of test and/or analysis plan for product verification and validation.
- Applies existing applications to routine problems.
- Produces and/or evaluates possible design solutions to improve cost, quality and performance based on specialized knowledge of engineering applications. This may include possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management and/or supplier personnel.
- Analyzes assignments and determines engineering specifications which must be fulfilled for routine problems or projects.

Shift:
- 1st shift (7:30 am to 4 pm)
Education:
- Degree in an Engineering/Technology/Science discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
- Manager is looking for candidates with 4-year Engineering Degree in Mechanical or Agricultural fields.
- Manager is open to recent grad candidates.
Skills:
- Creo Parametric experience is required.
- Must be willing to learn.
- Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.
- Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
- Experience using Creo Parametric is preferred.
- Understanding of engineering principles as they relate to Product Design.
- Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
Work Experience:
- Engineering experience related to Product Design Less than 1 year
- Technical experience relating to design/diagnostics of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems
- Experience with engineering tools, systems and databases. Less than 1 year
- Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems. Less than 1 year
