The scope of this project encompasses the following tasks:
1. Determine division/business line(s) to include in phase I scope
2. Review existing compliance risk rating methods and bring them in line where necessary with industry-standard practices
3. Develop a compliance risk assessment methodology
4. Design compliance risk assessment tools, and templates to support the process
5. Develop a project plan and timeline for phased execution
6. Conduct an assessment of any current inventory of controls (notating manual versus automated) and regulations based on division/business lines priority established by the CCO
7. Begin execution of division/business line compliance risk assessment to include:
a. Identifying regulatory requirements in/out of scope
b. Risk rating regulatory requirements
c. Identifying controls that align to the in-scope requirements
d. Assessing any gaps between controls and regulatory requirements
e. Risk rating controls the environment
f. Perform necessary analysis to determine residual risk
8. Consultant will develop procedures and job tools to transfer knowledge, including but not limited to:
a. Prepare and provide communication tools (website, regular reports, consistent meetings (i.e. weekly) during project development or implementation, online discussion forums, interviews with vendor), using specified guidelines and/or platform;
b. Prepare and provide documentation of best practices and lessons learned during the project.
c. Store documents, procedures, and job tools in a centralized location for accessibility by authorized Client staff.
