Job Description

Position Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Create and implement new strategies of shipment methods, distribution, and storage
  • Monitor and report competitive activity and recommend logistics strategies
  • Initiate and develop a strong relationship with distributors
  • Collaborate with Dealer General manager/ Sales manager, team members and cross functional departments
  • Supervise functioning of direct reports from the suppliers involved on the logistics chain, review performance of suppliers on assigned targets, provide feedback and help them develop their skills
  • Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and daily requirements.

Knowledge

  • Expert understanding of Supplies chain
  • Expert understanding of Imports
  • Expert understanding of Customs
  • Suppliers logistics management (creation, maintenance, development and refurbishing)
  • Negotiation high level skills
  • Business administration, accountant, economics, finance, logistics and new business management.
  • P&L performance reports analytic skills
  • Strategic planning
  • Budget administration

Experiencie/Education

  • College graduate or equivalent training in, Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering Finance or similar.
  • More than 2 years on automotive sales in OEM
  • More than 3 years of logistics supplier managing on Automotive OEM side
  • Literacy in computer and software (Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Power BI).
