Job Description
- Highly sought after NSW Government Organisation
- Up to $100 per hour plus Super
- 12 months contract
Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking GIS Specialist to join their team.
In this role, you will connectenterprise datasets, ensuring that data is fit for purpose, in order to discover insights and provide key information that is used in decision-making about products and services across the asset value chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application of analytical tools and algorithms to asset data
- Validation of business assumptions through what if analysis of asset and other data sets
- Spatial data acquisition, editing and management
- Spatial modelling and analysis including preparation of graphical and visualisation outputs
- Drive analyses and provide practical recommendations to influence LCS product and service strategy
- Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Explore data and discover patterns, meaningful relationships, anomalies and trends
Selection Criteria:
- A degree qualification with 3+ years experience or proven equivalent industry experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at BI queries, report writing and presenting findings
On offer is a 12 month contract at a highly sought after NSW Government Organisation, with a highly competitive hourly rate.
