Position Name: Data Manager(O&M)
Responsibilities:
- You will be in charge of data management.
- Specific business examples are as follows.
- Metadata management (e.g., organize and manage the structure and meaning of water treatment plant-related data)
- Master data management (e.g., definition of a common ID system that integrates water treatment plant-related data within the data infrastructure. Defined IDs data transformation into a system)
- Data modeling (e.g., defining the data structure in the data warehouse so that it is easy for data users to use)
- Data quality management (e.g., defining and monitoring data quality indicators; Data quality assurance at the time of transfer)
- Data security (Example: IAM design. Definition of handling of personal information).
Qualifications:
- System development experience in the manufacturing industry
- Work experience as a data manager.
- Experience working with or working with data analysts.
- Basic knowledge of machine learning (equivalent to the G test of the Japan Deep Learning Association)
Business ability -
- Requirement definition ability (define requirements based on data users and data-related laws and regulations)
- Requirement definition ability (define system requirements to realize business requirements)
Engineering ability -
- Architecture design (level to create a conceptual diagram of data pipeline)
- Data modeling ability (creation of conceptual data model, logical data model, physical data model)
- Data extraction ability using SQL (correlated subquery, with the ability to understand and use clauses correctly)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Business ability/structuring skills (understand the concept of the domain and be able to structure it)
- Data science ability
- Knowledge about DMBOK.
- Engineering capabilities
- Security knowledge (access control, data anonymization policy design)
- ETL knowledge (level of ability to define requirements for ETL processing)
