The client is a building construction and development company based in Australia. They specialize in Residential and Commercial construction, in which they deliver quality and honesty to each of their clients which makes them above anyone else in their region. They focus on large-scale construction and institutional buildings like hospitality, health care, aged care, nursing homes, and various residential construction projects.

Job Summary
Are you an experienced Building Designer/ Draftsperson who has excellent skills using REVIT, Enscape and CAD? Do you have experience in Residential, Commercial and Industrial projects with excellent construction know-how? Can you work with other consultants such as engineers, certifiers and councils? If you ve answered yes, we want to hear from you.
We re offering an exciting new full-time role with our Australian team. In this role, you ll be committed to producing excellent design documentation with high levels of accuracy. Maintain a positive and can do attitude whilst developing strong relationships with our other consultants, builders and most importantly our clients.
Drafting and/or assisting in the overall drafting of the following:
- Development Proposal
- Site Plans
- Ground Floor Plans
- First Floor Plans
- Second Floor Plans
- Wall Types Plans & Schedule
- Lift & Stair Plans & Details
- Wet Area Plans & Elevations, Joiner Details
- Elevations
- Sections
- Workplace Safety Notes
Requirements
Skills and Attributes
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Technical knowledge of the NCC and Australian Standards
- Enjoy working in a fast paced office
- Effective communication skills
- Proactive decision maker
- Inspires a shared vision
In addition to the above our non-negotiables are as follows:
- Excellent REVIT knowledge and know-how
- Knowledge of the NCC (National Construction Code) and Australian standards or at least aware of them
- Experience in both commercial and residential architectural detailed drafting minimum of 3 years
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
