Operations and Clearing Assistant - Banking - Chinese Speaker

Our client is a famous Bank in Geneva looking to add to its operations team a clearing and settlement assistant (Chinese Speaker ideally, added to English and French).

As a clearing and settlement assistant you will be:

- daily processing clearing, monitoring and processing the business transactions in the banking systems and clearing systems.

- daily printing and checking of reports of the previous days transaction.

- daily help to ensure that there will be no wrong balance on the book of the bank and policies of the bank are being strictly observed.

- daily monitoring system of operation and clearing issues.

- be responsible for managing the clearing and operations files.

- providing the support and assisting for communication and contact with local regulators, clearing organizations, banking institutions and all other related business parties

- assisting Operations and Clearing Manager to process all business transactions of the bank, which include loans, deposits, trade financing, treasury business, lending and borrowing with other financial institutions, etc.

- assisting Operations and Clearing Manager to prepare and submit all the reports required by local regulators

Requirements

- Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance, Accounting, Law or Banking

- A first or nice experience in clearing and operation (loan administration, trading financing service, clearing processing, back-office for treasury, ...) of banks or financial institutions sector is a strong advantage

- A good knowledge about Swiss accounting law, local and international clearing requirements is a nice to have

- Fluency in English is a must, Chinese and French knowledge will be a strong plus

- Good Microsoft Office skills especially in MS Excel
