Cloud Engineer III - 5G OSS Ingestion Sr Application Cloud Developer

Job Description:

Has a minimal to intermediate knowledge of the AWS Cloud Platform and many of its application services such as the following:

o API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, IAM, VPC's, S3, CloudWatch, Event Bridge, Step Functions, ECS, Fargate, Secrets Manager, Kinesis etc.

o Familiar with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation, SAM or CDK.

o Familiar with Continuous integration / Continuous deployment tools such as Concourse and AWS's Code Pipeline services such as CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, etc.

Demonstrates intermediate to deep level knowledge of the Python Programming language or another equivalent such as Node/JavaScript, Java.

Understands basic OO principals and functional programming concepts.

Effective Communicator and can translate requirements, design and Architecture.

Can implement portions of a handed down architecture from the Architecture team.

Can Mentor and provide technical guidance to Jr, Intermediate and Sr developers.

Can assist the development team and pick up stories when and if the situation arises.

Has several years of experience working in an agile environment and familiar with such tools like Jira.

Can communicate and articulate thoughts / ideas, designs and implementation specifics to the development team and Architects.

Responds in a timely manner to questions / requests from the Development team and Architects.

Required: This position is typically meant for a Software Application Developer who has between 7 to 10 years of experience development applications.

Required: 1 to 2 years of building real world applications on the AWS Cloud Platform.

Preferred: AWS Solution Architect Associate or AWS Developer Associate Certification.

MUST HAVE work experience:

Overall Development experience along with Agile (6+ year), AWS Cloud (2+ years), CI/CD using Concourse/AWS Code Pipeline
