Accounts & Tax Manager

TPF Recruitment is assisting a highly regarded chartered accountancy practice based in Orpington in their search for an Accounts and Tax Manager.
This chartered firm of accountants has developed a very strong reputation across Kent and the South East, acting for for some very interesting clients consistingof OMBs, SMEs and large corporates. Because of ongoing, sustained positive growth and looking to plan for the future development of the firm, the Partners are looking to recruit a Manager to bolster their team as a key addition.

As a Manager in the Orpington office, you will join at a key time in this firms development with a chance to carve a career within this successful firm of chartered accountants. You will lead and manage the delivery of accounts, tax and wider services to clients across varied industries developing client relationships, taking on a portfolio and work on wider advisory, planning and business services as well as delivering wider project work too. You oversee and review the work of more junior staff, whilst managing an exciting client portfolio and supporting the directors. There is a clear route to progress and take on more responsibility in this Manager position.

Requirements

• You will be ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent with a career background and strength within accounts and tax, and all around general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole traders, partnerships and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice environment.
  
• You will have at least 5 years experience with practice.
  
• Experience of IRIS, Xero, Sage and QuickBooks would be advantageous.
  

Benefits

50,000 - 60,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.

You may be an AAT qualified technician, or you may have developed your career through experience to date only and be looking to build further on this, in a hands on role. Most importantly, as a key requirement to be considered for this role and firm, you will have developed experience across any of bookkeeping, preparing vat returns, CIS, payroll etc within an accountancy practice firm of any size, as a Bookkeeper. You will ideally have at least three years experience, developed across any of these areas, within an accounting firm / accountancy practice environment, as a key requirement. Part-time, 3 days a week working arrangements.
