Supply Chain Technology Consultant

The Supply Chain Consultant will provide capability in supply chain to clients in the areas of Demand and Supply Planning or Logistics. On technology transformations, she will provide both best practice market insights and practical implementation advice to clients.

The candidate we seek will need the ability to articulate complex ideas persuasively and have a talent for showing clients that we have the right solutions to their most pressing issues.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and tackle complex business situations in Demand and Supply Planning, or Warehousing, Transportation. Design and implement technology solutions to address those situations, and demonstrate benefits and value delivered.

Be part of technology delivery projects through the project life cycle from initial pitch through to solution design and activity planning, successful delivery, and knowledge capture

Participate in deep-dive process design & discovery sessions to understand business needs

Support sales cycles, communicate potential solutions and outcomes to clients and stakeholders

Qualifications:

Good background in Supply Chain engineering concepts.

Strong understanding of one or more of these technologies Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, O9, Manhattan, SAP eWM, OTM (Oracle Transportation). Hands on experience on at least two full project life cycles.

5-10 years of relevant experience in industry role or business software consulting role

A passion for working in customer facing roles.

Great interpersonal, communication, facilitation and presentation skills.

MBA or BS/MS/PhD in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field with an excellent academic record

Self-direction with ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment, working independently and remotely with people at all levels in an organization.

Willingness to travel up to 75%
