Job Description
Ladish Valves designs & manufactures a wide range of engineered gate, globe, check & ball valves. Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a well-qualified Ball Valve Engineer to join our great team..
Requirements
To be well qualified for this role, here is what we are looking for in the qualified candidates:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering
- Minimum five years of experience in floating ball valve design, trunnion ball experience is a plus.
- Minimum five years of Solidworks experience.
- Solidworks Stress and Flow finite element analysis
- Willing to get his/her hands dirty.
- Knowledge on ball valve design specifications per:
a. API 608
b. API 641
c. API 6D
d. API 607
e. API 6FA
f. API 598
g. ASME B16.34
h. ASME B31.3
i. ASME B16.10
j. ASME 16.5
k. ASME B16.25
l. ASME B16.11
m. ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section II, Part D
n. ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII, Division 1 (at the minimum, must have knowledge on Appendix 2, S, Y)
o. ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section IX
p. MSS SP-144
q. BS 6364
r. NACE MR0103 / MR0175
s. All relate ASTM specifications.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, or High School Diploma and have minimum five (5) years of QHSE work experience in general industry. Knowledgeable in ISO Quality Management system and OSHA regulations and statutory requirements. Experience of developing, implementing, QHSE policies, procedures, and active participation on its audits Experience in NCR, RCA, CAPA, FMEA and auditing. Desired Qualifications: ISO 9001 Auditors training OSHA #501 Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards/or General Industry I or other valid competency certificates
