This is a remote position.

Looking for a test engineer to work in group of specialists in the field of software quality assurance. Developer/Engineer in Test carefully selects tools for specific tasks in the scope of testing based on specification, structure, or experience. When needed, they use automatisation tools, but mostly take care of user security as well as software efficiency and usability. Such a person is not afraid of going beyond their role and suggesting better solutions in a bold manner. He or she introduces improvements related to writing a code individually or making the use of other specialists' assistance. He or she effectively performs tasks thanks to building relations with his or her project team, i.e., a Programmer, a Business Analyst or a support engineer, as well as the client. Such a person participates in the whole life cycle of a project, from the very stage of consulting, through software creation, to its support. It is a person with passion - eager to learn and share his or her knowledge.

Daily work consist of:

Working with Programmers and Business Analysts to define automated testing approach for the projects,

Defining and executing testing strategy,

Maintaining and improving automation test framework,

Estimating, designing, developing and maintaining automated test scenarios and test data,

Executing automated tests, monitoring and reporting test results,

Performing application testing, reporting test results, creating test documentation,

Investigating and performing root cause analysis on bugs and test failures,

Creating and improving Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines,

Assisting with TDD in pair with Developers,

Providing input at design stage and contributing to whiteboard sessions,

Requirements

Must have:

• Ability to design, create and maintain automated tests of web applications
  
• Practical knowledge of Docker
  
• C#/Python
  
• Passion to build and improve CI/CD pipelines
  
• Experience with web services test automation (REST/Soap)
  
• Experience in improving automated test solutions and providing recommendations
  
• Basic understanding of practical networking concepts (TCP/IP) and virtualised environments
  
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles, software engineering processes, test processes, operating systems, and architectures
  
• English min. B2/C1 level
  

Nice to have:

• Experience in collaborating with cross functional teams
  
• Certificate ISTQB Foundation level
  
• Practical knowledge of SQL
