We have an opportunity for a Software Developer for Aircraft Navigation to join our Aerospace team in Brno. Become an integral member of the Brno Aerospace team, developing, and maintaining navigation avionics products. This will involve participation in all phases of the software lifecycle, from concept through to development, delivery, and partnering with customers during product troubleshooting. The role will allow you to participate on exciting projects dealing with cutting-edge technology in the field, further developing your skills in a supportive environment. Tasks
Responsibilities
- Software design and implementation of safety critical real-time systems. (aircraft navigation implemented in C, Python, etc.)
- Creating and updating software requirements
- Ensuring the functional requirements, safety and certification criteria are optimally implemented
- Validation of software and communicating with the verification department
- Software Integration and troubleshooting of embedded platforms
- Creating software engineering documentation.
- Closely cooperating with project engineer to ensure timely deliveries
- Participate on internal knowledge sharing, mentoring younger colleagues and helping with troubleshooting
- Cooperate with process focals on guidelines and processes improvement, tailoring and definition
- Collaboration with domestic and international teams and key stakeholders
Requirements
Requirements:
- Engineering bachelor s degree (software background) in Computer Science, Electrotechnics, Mechatronics or related fields
- Knowledge of C programming language
- Knowledge of a scripting language (Python, etc.) and experience with development workflow automation
- Knowledge of Configuration management for software development, such as GIT, Subversion, etc.
- Advanced level of English language
- Experience with automation and agile workflow is preferred
- Matlab/Simulink knowledge is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and analytical ability
