The Client
Our client is a world leader in providing specialist field joint coating services to the onshore and offshore services for all major pipeline construction contractors (Oil & Gas) who have earned a reputation for quality, performance, reliability in the services of the company.
The Role
Responsible for project co-ordination support across the Project Delivery Team, ensuring timely and accurate data is prepared & reported to support the decision-making process during the World Class management of multiple global projects. Customer facing role for updates to the client second to the project delivery manager.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Ensure the highest of Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Responsible for ensuring all project management processes and digital tools are followed and signed off accordingly.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Assist with the development of project plans and associated communications documents.
- Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
- Ensure clients needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Review field reports throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Issue plan and liaise with Project admin for Purchase Orders management and monitor SAP.
- Track & manage contemplated change notices and change orders in SAP.
- Deputise in the absence of the Project Delivery Manager liaise with project stakeholders
Commercial & Technical Support
- Understanding of contractual project requirements and support the finance department on the project including applications & invoices
- Assist the project manager and finance functions in the preparation of forecasting for the Business Updates Briefing & Month End.
- Summaries daily site reports to facilitate the finance dept to accurately allocate labour cost to projects.
- Support the collating & reporting out aged debt & unbilled debt on a weekly basis.
- Work closely with Technical officers within the project team to fulfil customer expectations and document submission deadlines.
Required
- Prince 2 Qualified or project management qualification (desirable not essential
- Minimum 5 GCSEs (Must include English and Mathematics)
Work Experience Required
- Previous experience /understanding of managing multiple multi-million-dollar projects.
- Financial budgeting & cost management
- Experience within the pipeline industry (Desirable)
