Working Hours: Full time 9am-5pm Monday to Friday
Location: Malmesbury
Basis: Permanent contract subject to satisfactory performance in six-month probationary period.
Assist the registered manager in all aspects of the day to day running of the service ensuring positive outcomes for our clients. To maintain the quality of the service by complying with the company s policies and procedures and by adhering to CQC care standards and requirements.
Main responsibilities:
Support systems and procedures Help to set up and maintain office systems and procedures to ensure smooth delivery of care. To update care management system and audit information submitted.
Support the clients- Deal with all elements of day-to-day care and liaise with clients and their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of a quality care service. Fulfil care visits to cover for rota shortfalls, absences, sickness and holidays.
Support the Care Team- Support the care teams and manage all elements of staff administration. Lead by example, as both care and office staff are expected to pitch in when required in covering care calls. To undertake on-call duties when scheduled to do so (This is paid in addition to salary).

Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills. The ability to listen, to follow and understand instructions. Attention to detail.

Qualifications
Educated to GCSE or above
QCF level 3 in Health & Social Care preferred
Experience
Previous experience delivering care
Using electronic care management system
Using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and databases
Working in a similar role or care environment
Knowledge
IT literate with knowledge of different types of software
Knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2008
Knowledge of CQC fundamental standards
Paid holiday and workplace pension.
Additional pay for care calls outside of office hours and on-call duty.
