Responsibilities or duties:
- Study any complexity effects of proposed or given design changes, internally or from the customer
- Review customer marketing requirements and develop Wire Harness Complexity to both KSK andbatch
- Create functional modules and harnesses derivatives as per function
- Review harness partitioning
- Create module harness compatibility matrix for KSK harness (Plausibility Matrix)
- Ensure harness selection for the vehicles is aligned with the customer orders.
- Calculate the take rates for each KSK module and harness derivatives
- Analyse required harness complexity to support customer within theconstraints of manufacturing,sequencing, and optimized giveaway cost, for new design and design changes
- Prepare complexity reduction / optimisation proposals based on take rate, system cost, optionusage, harness production, etc.
