Job Description

Job title - Portfolio Solutions Consultant

Team - International Payments - Corporate Advisory and Dealing.

The Organisation

Our client is a market disruptor that provides innovative financial services to large corporate and institutional clients, as well as charities through its CSR division. The company has roots back to 2015, with formal operations starting in 2017. There is one additional business within the Group, albeit non-financial group operates across three markets: foreign exchange, interest rates and commodities offering independent tendered execution and hedging advice through a proprietary, in-house developed platform.

What our client are looking for their Mayfair based office is expanding its foreign exchange division and looking to build a team of corporate foreign exchange business developers. They offering a rare opportunity for capable individuals to join their journey at the beginning of their growth cycle.



Requirements

You will be:

Ideally candidates will have some experience or at least have a solid understanding of the deliverable FX product range. Knowledge of selling/dealing Spot, Forward and options would serve as an advantage but the focus for this role is ensuring candidates have a solid B2B sales mindset or background.

Key responsibilities

Researching and qualifying potential clients to build a database of leads

Engaging and consulting with C-level executives of medium-large businesses ( 30m - 300m) across a diverse range of sectors. Cold calling will be your primary and preferred method of engaging opportunities initially.

Utilise tools and corporate databases like CreditSafe to ensure you are targeting key accounts and businesses we are better positioned to help.

You will develop relationship with your client to better understand their business and how they are exposed in FX. The goal is to offer the right FX hedging solution once you understand how the customer is challenged & exposed.

Understanding the mentality of solutions sales and having emotional intelligence is vital to being successful with this role.

You will work closely with your sales team and strategists to build and present valuable risk management solutions to clients - in time learning how to develop these solutions yourself.

You will develop trusted relationships with your existing portfolio of clients to retain their business and grow your portfolio.

Develop corporate partnerships and affiliate relationships

You will keep yourself up to date with the latest market news. Ensuring Trends and forecasts are reacted upon, and your clients are away about any volatility within FX before it takes place to ensure we are offering customers the best hedging strategy within the FX industry.

The successful graduate FX Broker will need to be articulate, and confident to display a clear level of intelligence when liaising with corporate FX clients and can perform consistently in a role that is vital to the growth of the business.

Benefits

The Package & Proposed Offer

Location - Mayfair, London

Start-date - January 22

Base Salary - 22 to 26,500 Bonus & Commission. 35 to 45 OTE

Share options - Our client is implementing a time and performance linked share option scheme which this role is entitle for first round is up to 3% for this position. Increments of 1% allocation subject to targets and KPIs being met.
