We are currently recruiting for a group of GP Practices in Redbridge. Their primary business activity is the delivery of highest quality bespoke healthcare In and Out of Hours appointments and to operate a local walk in service.
They provide a wide range of Primary Medical Servicesunder both NHS and independent arrangement.
We are seeking a Access Hub Site Supervisor.
Purpose of the role
To manage a team of 4 or more staff to ensure consistency of quality and customer service for the Enhanced Access Service. (Enhanced Access and Simple Wound Care)
Main Functions
- Manage and support a team of 4 or more staff at any one time to ensure quality standards are met at all times
- Ensure the smooth running of both the Enhanced Access Service and Simple Wound Care Clinic.
- Fill the scheduled rota with the necessary staff required for each EA site and Simple Woundcare Clinic,
- Liaise with Agencies and pool staff to fill all vacant sessions. The EA service requires GP s, Nurses, HCA s and Admin staff on a daily basis across 5 sites. The Simple Woundcare Clinic requires a Nurse on a daily basis.
- Confirm all shifts with the relevant booked staff ahead of their session.
- Maintain correct data across different platforms. Rota and sessions should be synchronised on Lantum, Emis and Excel spreadsheet.
- Create corresponding sessions on Emis once Clinical Staff are confirmed.
- Update shifts accordingly on Lantum for pool staff.
- Check clinics on a daily basis to see if patients are booked and sessions filled, these should be filled at least 3 days in advance.
- Liaise with Practice Managers for up-to-date call lists to book HCA and Nurse appointment
- Allocate tasks to Site Administrators to fill vacant sessions.
- Act as a central point of contact for external trouble shooting/crisis management, including out of hours service sites
- Collate data reports for both services as required by HBD management and commissioners
- Will be required to be On call during the EA Service times for any queries staff may have.
Additional Tasks
You will be required to assist Operational Services Manager including preparation of meetings, research and development and any other duties deemed suitable to the post. Priorities are likely to vary from time to time
To review training needs of staff each time a new item of equipment is purchased
Gain knowledge of the Incident reporting procedure and advise Site Administrators accordingly under the guidance of the Operational Service Manager
To carry out together with the Operational Service Manager an Annual Infection Control Audit and Infection Prevention and Control Risk Assessment.
Responsible for implementing strategies and policies of ensuring staff are aware of and understand their responsibilities

Shift Times: Flexible working hours to accommodate the following service hours:
Monday Friday 8am-930pm
Saturday 9am-5pm
Candidates will need experience using EMIS system.
