Job Description

We are looking for an HR Manager as part of a wider complex composed of the new opened Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia, first Conrad in Italy and Baia di Chia Resort Sardinia Curio Collection by Hilton.

The goal of this role is to create and maintain a culture based on trust, passion, motivation and commitment.

The HR Manager is responsible for the implementation of all necessary human resources strategies, operational policies and processes, including recruitment, training, quality standards, incentive programs, budget and labor cost control.

He responds functionally to the Group Director of HR, People & Culture and hierarchically to the General Manager of the Resort with whom he will have a constant interaction.



Requisiti

  • Strategic ability to effectively communicate and influence all levels of stakeholders, including Senior Leadership
  • Ensure professional and efficient use of all systems, in line with business best practices and standard operating procedures
  • Excel in stressful situations, including change management and the ability to constantly manage the difficulties and obstacles associated with multi-location operation of a seasonal hotel
  • Create and implement best practices and standard operating procedures for the HR team, to ensure the highest standards of recruitment processes and training programs
  • Supervision of personnel needs planning and related professional development
  • Implementation of processes and procedures within People Management
  • Oversees the labor cost budget, works to improve labor costs and productivity outcomes in line with business goals and strategies
  • Analyze the learning and development needs of the hotel at all levels and create training programs and action plans necessary to ensure quality standards and levels of engagement
  • Establish and implement recruitment, selection, placement
  • Develop high-level leadership and talent growth pathways and direct initiatives focused on success planning, diversity and inclusion
  • Create a comprehensive annual division budget with an emphasis on recruitment, employee relations, and learning and development

Consolidated experience in research and selection, training and talent development.

Listed below are the mandatory requirements recognized as minimum level to be short listed for this role:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a senior leader in HR position within the hospitality industry (luxury segment and resorts preferred)
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with opening or seasonal resorts
  • Proven track record in guiding and successfully implementing changes and integration in complex and articulate businesses
  • Solid operational knowledge of HR operating systems (i.e. Zucchetti), IT software and HR/Payroll systems
  • Good knowledge of Excel and excellent presentation skills via PowerPoint or other tools
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Fluent in Italian (written and spoken)
  • Excellent analytical and numerical capabilities for fast data processing
  • Good listening skills and ability to anticipate business needs
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, adaptive influence and vision management skills
  • High level of motivation, determination and commitment
  • Proactivity, strategic vision
  • High ability to monitor the working climate among employees helping to establish a positive business climate
