Job Description

Purely Automotive Recruitment proudly offers a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Service Manager to join our client and their team based in Chester. Our client is a successful dealer group operating a number of prestige vehicle brands across the Northwest.


Requirements

Main Responsibilities:

To ensure the department provides the best possible service to the customers and achieves agreed profits and retention levels.

To organise, direct and control the activities of Service Department staff to achieve Plans and Budgets, ensuring optimum use of all material, financial and personnel resources.

To contribute to the development of all operating and administrative policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of all tasks smoothly and in a timely manner.

To monitor voice of the customer daily with the team coaching new starters to deliver five-star customer service.

To work alongside the senior team to deliver excellent customer service and experience.

Experience and Skill Levels We Require:

Possess a track record of high achievement within the aftersales/service arena.

Ability to work alongside a strong company management team is essential.

Excellent organisational skills, motivational ability and systems orientation required to fulfil this very challenging role.

Excellent sales, communication, negotiating and influencing skills.

Possess an outstanding attitude and passion for customer service with proven customer service skills.

An enthusiastic, dynamic and team orientated personality that offers help and support to others.

Willingness to learn and develop and keep up-to-date with complex/ technical/product information.

Ability to work weekends and bank holidays.

Thorough knowledge of computer applications (MS Office, Drive).
