Production Operator - Global Mfg Client

Safety

Perform work in accordance to safety requirements at all times.

Ensure all Safety-guards are in placed before operating equipment

Operational

Operate equipment in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs)

Perform setup and configuration of equipment to work-on film and paper product reels

Perform proper recording of product information before and after processing

Perform visual inspection of product to detect defects as identified by SOP and WIs

Perform re-work of product as instructed by Leadership

Perform proper hand-over take-over to/from shift co-workers

Perform proper sample taking/marking/recording of samples at specific interval per SOP and Work Instructions (WIs)

Perform proper product packaging per SOP and Work Instructions (WIs)

Print core labels/pallet labels and ensure proper labelling of reels as per Work Instructions (WIs)

Perform equipment maintenance as per Work Instructions (WIs)

Notify Leadership/QA Engineer if any additional defects found

Ensure General 5S housekeeping of work area / machine cleaning

Move and Feed production material per Work Instructions (WIs)

Requirements

Others

To help-out in other areas of production such as Finished Goods Packing and Retrieving of Materials from the Warehouse as and when needed.

Other Ad hoc assignments

Knowledge and Experience

Min (1) year of experience in the manufacturing environment

Education and Certifications

Min secondary school or any other relevant qualifications.

Job Specific skills and abilities

Experience in flexible packaging industy is an advantage

Experience in performing Visual Quality Inspection of Finished Goods is an advantage
