International Account Representative - French Speaker

We are looking for a French-speaking Account Representative to join our Trading team in the Amsterdam office. As an Account Representative, you will be responsible for selling semiconductors, and electronic and computer products. You will have the opportunity to build your customer base by prospecting, servicing, and nurturing an account base that includes computer manufacturers and other electronics companies in the French-speaking market as well as other markets.

Tasks

• Diligent research for customer leads using the internet and other tools.
• Heavy cold calling and prospecting of customers to advertise the value added services that Smith has to offer.
• Negotiation of price with customers and keeping up with market trends.
• Interface with the purchasing team to stay informed of current inventory.
• Relationship building and full account management.
• Qualifying leads and requirements from customers.

Requirements

• Aptitude to connect with customers over the phone, build relationships and close deals.
• Willingness to make outbound phone calls every day.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Committed to customer satisfaction, confidentiality and ability manage proprietary data.
• Native French, good command in English, and knowledge of another European language is preferred.

Experience:

Previous sales or cold-calling experience required.

Education:
Bachelor s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
