(Senior) Data Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

You are an experienced Data Engineer and you want to contribute your skills to a dynamic team? Then the Data Science team is the right place for you! Depending on your preferences and circumstances, you can either come to our beautiful office in the heart of Berlin on a regular basis, or work remotely.

The following exciting tasks are waiting for you:

• Identification, designing and implementation of improvements to our existing data pipeline infrastructure
• Organization of the connections between our various new systems to the existing data pipeline infrastructure
• Design and implementation of monitoring tools to ensure a smooth operation
• Integration of a version control system
• Creation and maintenance of a complete and comprehensive documentation of the data infrastructure.

Your profile

• You have at least 3 (ideally 5 for a senior entry) years of professional experience in the field of data engineering
• Ideally, you have a university degree in Data Engineering / Data Science, or a similar field.
• You have an excellent command of English (C1); basic German language skills are a plus
• Living in Berlin or in the surrounding area is not necessary - 100% remote work is possible
• You have advanced knowledge of SQL, Python and Javascript
• In addition, you have experience with ETL / ELT tools and ideally also with Google Bigquery
• You love challenges and taking responsibility, and feel comfortable in a dynamic team
• You have an independent way of working and are excited about always learning new things; moreover, you are motivated and enthusiastic, and are capable of keeping the overview even in challenging situations.
