Job Title : Product Discovery, Product Manager

Location : New York/Hybrid/Remote - EST

Role Summary :

This specific Product Manager Role is focused on the Product Details capabilities. As the Product Details PM, you'll be responsible for the global capabilities that enable the brand's Product Detail pages, ensuring product information is represented to customers effectively and optimally to make purchase decisions as easy as possible, as well as ensuring the capabilities are configurable, scalable and intuitive for the business users of the platform.

Requirements:

  • E-commerce beauty retail domain experience; understand players, competitive differences, trends and best practices
  • Wide-ranging stakeholder management experience in a highly matrixed international environment
  • Proven leadership across all aspects of the Product Development Lifecycle
  • Understanding of eCommerce products, platforms and technologies
  • Consumer-first orientation: you think about products from the end users' perspective and have knowledge of human-centered design principles and experimentation methods
  • Experience with analytics tools and data-driven decision-making
  • Highly collaborative & solution-oriented with good conflict resolutions skills
  • A proven track record of planning and shipping successful products

Responsibilities:

  • Grow a deep knowledge of our customers and how they engage with our products, always looking for new ways to create value on their behalf
  • Foster an outward facing view of the e-commerce beauty retail industry to identify how to accelerate business outcomes in the market
  • Data-driven decision making and prioritization, focusing on the right things
  • Build product learning agendas and drive "test & learn" activities through education, onsite experimentation, user testing and analysis
  • Identify opportunities and deliver iterative business value based on insights
  • Develop product roadmap based on business value and ROI analysis and provide regular communication and updates to regional partners, global and regional brands and other business stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely and build strong partnerships with UX, Engineering, Analytics & Insights, Product Marketing, Regional product teams, Brand Experience teams and other business stakeholders
  • Gain a solid knowledge of Estee Lauder Company's business and the intricacies of the Digital Experience and Brand Organizations
  • Active interest and effort to learn new technology, techniques and processes
  • Develop and drive product area OKRs ("Objective Key Results") in partnership with the business, regularly measuring progress and pivoting as necessary
  • Drive product adoption with Brand Experience teams, in partnership with Product Marketing

Skills:

  • Ability to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with brand and regional stakeholders
  • Highly collaborative & solution-oriented with good conflict resolutions skills
  • Ability to enact change quickly and pivot between many competing priorities and based on new learnings
  • Strong leadership skills especially in leading without authority and able to develop credibility within the organization
  • Experience in analytics and consumer behavior tracking, able to evaluate information in different ways and from different angles to inform decisions
  • Effective communicator and able to tailor message based on audience
  • Can adapt to change quickly and thrive within ambiguity
  • Experience with CMS platforms and Data Management tools and proficient in Jira, Confluence, Google Analytics and Figma
