Job Position: Assistant Director of Project
Job Location: Mumbai
You would be responsible for successfully delivering upon the below activities:
- Technical Support (Project Planning & Monitoring)
- Team Management
- Governance Management
- Supply Chain Management
- Identify and mitigate challenges in process, timeline or target, while aligning all concerned stakeholders
- Develop Business Models for ensuring sustainability of the MRF operations with the support of technical experts
- Plan and Schedule Resource Efficiently including budgetary, sales and compliance management across all verticals
- Facilitate procurement of machines and equipment for the MRF
- Track budgets, forecast schedule and cost performance, incorporate scheduled updates, identify problem areas by developing and maintaining detailed and summary project cost reports, and detailed and summary schedule performance reports
- Develop a training and onboarding plan for the project team and support towards the continuous development of the team
- Strategize and plan for horizontal and vertical growth of project teams & individuals to further the organizations objectives
- Track and monitor performance of the individuals and the team to ensure they are aligned with the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure best possible results and progress.
- Establish Project Governance Structure internal as well as with Clients
- Prioritize and align project as per Strategic Business Objectives
- Streamline and Automate Processes and Workflows
- Fulfill project milestones in a time-bound manner and plan for mitigation measures in case of delays
- Supervise the development of MRFs and allied activities for achieving project outcomes, as per project plan
- Develop and sustain long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors
- Meet with suitable vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, negotiate pricing, and communicate any product or service-related concerns
- Establish standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors
- Lock material source in the respective geographies to ensure sustainability of the MRFs
- Monitor & ensure sustainability of the MRFs and develop mitigation measures, if required, in case of any risks and challenges
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to setting up and operational aspects of the MRFs
- Relevant education in the field of engineering and/or business administration
- Prior experience of Project Management & Implementation
- Previous exposure of working on projects with Government
- Experience in Lamination/flexibles industries, construction, operation, experience in production will be preferred
- 12-15 years of prior experience of working on waste-infrastructure related projects
- Ability to: create frameworks, business plans, manage budgets, continual improvement plans
- Experience of working on Project Management Tools
- Can understand / communicate in multiple languages - Hindi, English, Tamil (preferred)
