Purpose of the Job

This role will be accountable for the nurturing, scaling and growth of Data Services within the Data Service Line. Consequently, some of the primary responsibilities will include development of Cloud Data strategy, delivery with high quality, hiring and developing teams, competence building and building solutions & accelerators. Lead culture change for Cloud Data Services within the org and for adoption with the customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Data Service Line leadership team to develop practice goals and objectives for Cloud Data Services
• Develop and drive an execution plan towards driving results based on defined practice objectives
• Establish & ongoing refinement of methodology, tools and framework for solutions & services delivery
• Establish Cloud Data Strategy playbook that could be adopted by our customers
• Own and deliver Cloud Data Services related proposals, thought leadership articles etc. for our customers and prospects
• Oversight, guidance to teams and ensuring right solutions and high quality of delivery
• Nurture and build teams with strong technology & solutions capabilities aligned to the needs of our customers and industry
• Help in identifying relevant partnerships with major Cloud Data Technology providers, service providers with complementary skills, etc.
• End to End Responsibility in Conceptualize and develop framework, accelerators or solutions for specific use cases
• Create visibility and presence for the organization in right forums, conferences and events
• Periodic reviews with leadership team on practice operations, progress and overall direction
• Technical liaison between customers, functional and engineering teams to provide customer driven strategic initiatives.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the worldwide solution architect community.

Skills & Competencies

• Cloud Data Architect (Exp: ~ 15 Yrs): with experience in Defining & Establishing Data Strategy & Roadmap, Enterprise Level Data Architecture & Solutions
• Consulting experience on Enterprise Data Management Solution on Cloud and new age data Platforms with prior experience on BigData platform, Traditional Databases, Data Warehousing.
• Extensive experience working on Cloud platforms, Exposure handling enterprise cloud based implementation on more than one Platforms. Preferably on Azure and Hybrid Cloud (GCP, AWS).
• Experience working in Big Data technologies including the Cloudera/Hortonworks ecosystem
• Extensive experience architecting and designing solutions on Big Data including data ingestion, Expertise of distributed computing architecture principles.
• Experience with building stream-processing systems, using solutions such as Kafka/spark/storm.
• Expertise working & handling with Spark based hadoop distribution & Platform
• Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB.
• Experience with various messaging systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Highly technical and analytical, possessing 10+ years of analytics platform implementation or operations experience. Deep understanding of database and analytics technologies in the industry including MPP, Relational, and NOSQL databases.
• Implementation and Performance tuning experience on Traditional Data Warehouse, Hadoop & Cloud Ecosystem, including Hadoop Streaming, Spark, Pig and Hive.
• Implementation and tuning experience of Data Warehousing platforms, including knowledge of Data Warehouse Schema Design, Query Tuning and Optimization, and Data Migration and Integration. Experience of requirements for the analytics presentation layer including Dashboards, Reporting
• Strong experience using Agile Scrum. Based methodology
• Experience in nurturing teams, building competence and delivery oversight
• Excellent communication and client management skills
