Job Title:- Sr PEGA Developer

Job Location:- Norfolk, VA (Remote)

Clinet is looking for a Pega developer to build end to end business solutions and to work with one of the leading healthcare providers in US. The ideal candidate must have experience in Pega 8, SQL and Object-Oriented Programming. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team.

Responsibilities: As a Pega developer, you will

Meet with Product Owners and Business Analysts to discuss the application needs

Design and Develop the Pega applications

Design class structures, application frameworks and data models

Ensure the application architecture meets the business requirements

Integrate with other applications and ensure data flow needs are met

Coordinate with testers to ensure the testing requirements are fulfilled

Ensure adherence to enterprise application security standards

Conduct application troubleshooting to identify issues and fix bugs

Requirements:

Five or more years of experience as a Pega Developer

Must have experience in Pega 8 and must have worked on:

o Case Management:

Custom Routing

Custom Stage Transitioning

o Job Schedulers

o Work Queues

o Data Pages

o Reports

o Data Types

o BIX Extraction

o Error handling

o Debugging, Tracing and Logging

Must have SQL experience and must have worked on:

o Data Definition Language (DDL): Creating and altering tables, indexes, sequences, etc.

o Data Manipulating Language (DML): Writing queries using Select, Update, Delete, Insert, Joins, Unions, etc.

Object Oriented Programming (OOP) experience or thorough understanding is required.

Familiar with DevOps tools such as Bitbucket / Bamboo / Jira / Confluence

Work experience in Agile (Scrum) development teams required

Healthcare domain experience preferred
