Maintenance Supervisor (Afternoon Shift)

One of our food clients in Kitchener / Waterloo, ON is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for their processing / packaging facility.

Roles and Responsibilities

• The Maintenance Manager is responsible for developing PM programs.

• Ensures that an effective preventive & predictive maintenance system is in place and well understood by the members of the maintenance team

• Maintains documentation on all equipment, building infrastructure, etc., such as machine manuals, electric circuit diagrams, hydraulic-pneumatic circuit diagrams, assembly drawings, spare part lists, and preventive/predictive and emergency breakdown work orders/instructions.

• Practices and promotes continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and identifies possible cost reduction opportunities.

• Lead Shift meetings, documentation, and building maintenance and implement CI in the plant.

• Assist Management in budgeting, scheduling and planning of maintenance activities.

Qualifications --

• A valid Millwright / Electrical License or Electro-Mechanical diploma or Engineering Degree.

• 2-3 Years' experience as a Maintenance Manager in food processing / packaging environment

• Ability to work scheduled overtime as required

• Good communication skills.
