Description:
Under limited supervision, setup, and operate precision machines ( CNC, Press, CMM, FARO Arm, Milling Machine, Band Saw, Shear etc)
Confers with engineers, production personnel, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
Clamping, Deburring of girders and truck frames.
Assembly/Disassembly of wheelsets
Measuring of Griders, Truck Components, Wheel Sets
Peforms daily maintenance and cleaning of machines and workcell per established checklists
Setup, Measurement of machine tools
Expert in Sinumerik or MAE Wheel Programming
Expert in Settingup Measuring Programs for CNC
Expert in Setting up programs for CMM and FARO arm
Able to train Team members.
Able to coordinate daily operations within machining cell (3-4 machines/machinists).
Confers with engineers, production personnel, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
