Job Description

One of our clients in Stoney Creek, ON is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician for their service.

Shift: Day/Afternoon (rotational)

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to execute electrical repairs according to specifications and verbal direction.

  • Should identify and perform corrective maintenance that could lead to downtime or line stoppage.

  • The candidate should provide detailed information regarding any required parts or tools that may be required.

  • Shall perform PLC installations, integration, improvements, modifications and start ups for the production line.

  • The candidate should Troubleshoot PLC drivers and controls.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally Industrial Electrician (442A) license or a 443 (Millwright) license or an Apprentice 4th Year.

Skills & Experience:

  • The candidate should have the working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.

  • The candidate should be familiar with material handling systems, conveyor systems, pumps, gearboxes, drive systems and industrial automation.

  • Should hold previous experience in a manufacturing environment considered an asset.

  • Well versed with good communication skills with all levels of the organization
