Job Description: Responsibility:
-Hands-on IP router/switch/telephony customer premises equipment
-Design, configure and deploy LAN and WAN network connections, hardware, software and communication links and services.
-Optimize the network and systems services and troubleshoot any network performance issues.
-Responsible for the service provision and monitoring of the network infrastructure to company standards.
Skills:
-Specific knowledge and 0 to 3 years of experience with Cisco and Juniper routers
-Knowledge of internetworking designs and their applications and routing
-Solid knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 internetworking technologies
-Experience with protocols
-Firewall experience such as (Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Checkpoint NG etc.)
-Extensive experience with Cisco switches and routers
-Certifications such as (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are a plus
Top 3 skills
1. layer 2 troubleshooting (LAN, WAN, Layer 2 protocols, IP protocols)
2. if they have routing protocol knowledge, that would be a plus

Everything Eng1 plus additional years of experience, Advanced level of knowledge in the technologies mentioned in Eng1 (more in depth knowledge of layer2/layer3 protocols), higher certification such as CCNP instead of CCNA or JNCIS-SP, instead of JNCIA etc
