Job Description

Our partners Nike Deutschland GmbH are looking for a Catalyst Operations Specialist based in Berlin. This role is a temporary role for 12 months.

The Catalyst Brand Management team engages, supports and serves
the key relevant cultural voices in Berlin, the future forward thinkers,
the visionaries, the ones who are driving change in culture. This team
works to energize the business and create the future of Sport* by
enabling/creating powerful platforms to merge Sport and Culture, to make
people feel and help them do sport, on their terms, every day.

Tasks

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

In this role you will report directly to the Berlin Catalyst
Operations team with a dotted line to the Berlin Catalyst Director. Your
core duties will include:

  • Managing inventory system to facilitate product, distribution and release of product from Room72 and warehouse
  • Creating sales orders (SAP), & tracks orders to ensure the Catalyst Brand Management team hit targeted seeding dates
  • Receiving and unpacking incoming product orders
  • Organising product pick-ups and delivery of products to catalysts
  • Managing and running the stock room
  • Seasonal showroom setup + campaign executions
  • Identify young creatives who can help you in elevating the showroom experience
  • Supporting the Relationship team with their Catalyst showroom appointments, being the product expert onsite
  • Maintaining a joyful, inspirational and elevated environment at Room72

Requirements

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

As a Catalyst Operations Specialist, you will work within the Berlin
Catalyst Team alongside the Ops, Marketing and Relationship functions to
master the next 12 months service model, for all relevant cultural
catalysts experiences with Nike.

We are looking for a talented administrative and operations
individual, with a passion and understanding for Berlin youth culture
and enthusiasm for sneakers and street culture. You should be an
individual with experience in product management, ordering, receiving,
storing and inventory duties in a storeroom.
You will be extremely organised to help oversee the administrative
duties in running a Nike space dedicated to engaging with our catalysts,
called Room72, to ensure our catalyst relationships receive the
best-in-class service and experience. In this space you will also be
involved in setting up product displays, sometimes working with external
stylists, creatives agencies and partners, as well as in supporting and
occasionally co-designing Catalyst s experiences (ie. shootings,
marketing campaigns, special setups, sport sessions for our catalysts,
Room72 appointments etc).

We are looking for a passionate, creative and an exceptionally
organized who enjoys finding solutions whatever the challenge, with a
natural team player spirit, who can support the full Catalyst Brand
Management offense.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

A successful candidate will be expected to articulate experience of
the below essential requirements in order to be considered. Candidates
who meet these minimum criteria will then be assessed based on the
competencies outlined below.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years experience in self-management (yes, you heard that right)

  • Prior experience in Influencer Marketing, Marketing Operations, or Brand Marketing with a focus on understanding dimensions of culture, will be a plus.
  • Understanding of youth culture. Curious, creative and courageous about its future.
  • Future forward thinker with a solution-oriented mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Proficiency in SAP systems to order product
  • Ability and willingness to perform tasks such as lifting or moving boxes
  • Business Proficient Language Skills in English and basic German
  • Methodical and Organised Incredible attention to detail and a love for organisation
  • Nike Product knowledge - Strong awareness of Nike s product culture & innovation and a love for sneaker culture at large.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team player, able to develop productive relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • A successful candidate will be expected to articulate experience of
    the below essential requirements to be considered. Candidates

  • Integrity, Respect and Tolerance are expected, always.
  • Travel 5% to 15% of the time.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH

Day-to-day, you will work with the Catalyst Operations team
(including EMEA stakeholders and counterparts) and also directly with
the Catalyst Brand Management director, as well as with the Relationship
and Marketing team members. Beyond this core team and within the
broader Marketing organization, you will work closely with other teams
to help execute our plans, based on the project support needed. As part
of the operation team, you will also work with external partners
(designers, stylists, creatives).
