Job Title: Vulnerability Management and Asset Discovery ServiceNow

Location of role: Skokie , IL 60076 - Currently remote within the Chicagoland area ideally no more than 2 hours distance from Skokie IL - Must be able to come onsite possibly once a month.

Need to be vaccinated.

Salary or Hourly range: $105K to $125K Depending on experience DOE

Key Points of the role:

Sr. Vulnerability Management and Asset Discovery
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Minimum six years of experience across Information Technology, Cloud Services, and Security is required with at least 2 years of experience as an administrator of a Vulnerability Management or IT Asset Management solution. Direct experience with Tenable or ServiceNow Discovery is preferred.
  • A professional-level, advanced technical, cybersecurity, or ServiceNow certification a plus.
  • Experience developing, documenting, and implementing Asset Management, Configuration Management, and Vulnerability Management processes, policies, controls, and procedures.
  • Experience integrating asset information, including vulnerability data (e.g., outputs from Tenable Nessus or Qualys), with ServiceNow.

Position Overview

  • Deploy and manage Tenable SC ( Tenable Scanner)
  • Coordinate the operation of ServiceNow Discovery on behalf of the Cybersecurity Team.
  • Design, implement, and manage asset, vulnerability, and configuration integrations between ServiceNow and other systems and applications.
  • Maintain IT software and hardware asset tracking data in ServiceNow.
  • Support the design, development, and implementation of automated processes for gathering, populating, and maintaining CMDB data.
  • Reconcile the CMDB data when exceptions are noted, by working with stakeholders and CI data owners to ensure the quality of the CMDB data is maintained and all CI are up-to-date.
  • Perform configuration audits using automated tools.
  • Track remediation and resolution activities for identified vulnerabilities.
  • Drive initiatives to identify, optimize, and automate manual IT processes related to asset, configuration, and vulnerability management functional areas.
  • Provide day-to-day support and maintenance of Assets and CI for the enterprise, coordinating with the ServiceNow administration team, systems support, and application and technical support teams, as appropriate.
  • Develop technical, training, testing, project management and operational documentation as required.
  • Provide status report/update on assigned projects and tasks, and as requested by management.
