Tasks

Position Summary

Throughout this three-month unpaid internship the HR Generalist will assist in the administrative and cultural processes of our team. The HR Generalist s additional duties will be to:

  • Effective operations of Company People & Culture activities to support management including on-boarding and/ off-boarding
  • Contribute to the development of a robust culture through role modeling the company values and the behaviors which drive our culture
  • Engaging with the teams, motivating them and helping to raise performance levels
  • Aiding in the hiring process, which includes coordinating and posting job posts, reviewing resumes, and performing job interviews where necessary
  • Ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed
  • Ensuring culture & engagement projects are implemented, reviewed and improved according to trends
  • Occasionally undertake tasks outside the normal scope of your job or this job post

Requirements

Education:

  • Possessing or pursuing a university degree in Human Resource Management or a related field

Experience:

  • Initial experience in an HR role (preferred) - such as experience in employee onboarding, learning & development, labor law

  • Experience in culture development programs
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Google Products
  • Initial experience in start-ups or agencies (preferably in the health and wellness sector)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, business proficiency in English is a must.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with the team
  • The capability of motivating and inspiring others while comfortably taking initiative
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively manage competing projects with tight deadlines
  • The ability to think creatively paired with a curiosity and the desire to learn
  • Interest and drive for continued research on HR topics to contribute and improve company practices
  • Strong community building skills with a deep sense of cultural awareness and curiosity
  • Excellent people skills, while being constantly compassionate and emotionally intelligent
  • Ability to offer and receive constructive feedback, and apply any suggested changes from the Team Manager efficiently and promptly
  • Shared holistic health and wellbeing values

Connectivity / Technology:

Your internet connectivity is sufficiently maintained, allowing you to hold online meetings and accomplish tasks.

Your devices (e.g. laptops and/or smartphones) are sufficiently maintained, allowing you to use these gadgets to accomplish tasks and to communicate with your team.

Location

The location of Solavieve GmbH is Kurf rsten-Anlage 52, 69115 Heidelberg, Germany. However, this position is remote and can be performed from any location.
