Position : Cloud Hardware Infrastructure Engineering (Firmware Devops Engineer)

Cloud Hardware Infrastructure Engineering is creating firmware and software for new platforms that will be deployed in the Azure Data Center. We are looking for a candidate that is familiar with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) processes to help drive, maintain and shape our development process applying scalable and secure practices.
Responsibilities
- As a Devops engineer you will be responsible to maintain and shape the continuous integration processes, to enable developers to deliver compliant, quality grade code fast and seamlessly.
- Lead efforts to interface with other teams and shape our release model, versioning and delivery of artifacts across teams, minimizing integration friction and inter-team regressions.
- Manage compliance for both our AzureDevOps instances/projects and the artifacts our team will deliver.
- Manage open source dependencies and governance.
- Help setup hardware lab for remote access.
- Help setup test automation for integration and system level testing.
- Manage asset and maintain automation/remote-access hardware
- Build break (CI and promotion pipeline) first level triage
- Documenting setup, troubleshooting tips, and instance root causes.
Qualifications
- Hands on experience with Azure Devops. In particular, access controls and azure pipelines (yaml).
- Hands on experience with git, for managing both code and repo mirroring.
- Understanding of general compliance requirements, dependency management, static analysis, etc.
- Experience with c toolchains and build systems (such as cmake).
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- General knowledge of firmware and embedded systems is a plus.
