Looking for a Kafka Engineer who will provide subject matter expertise in the deployment of Confluent Enterprise Kafka within organization.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science
- At least 7+ years of It experience.
- At least 3+ years of managing Kafka Platforms.
- Sound communication and analytical skills
Responsibilities:
The eligible candidate will be part of Platform Engineering team with the following responsibilities
- Responsible for Kafka Platform engineering
- Responsible to automate the cell/cluster creation and configuration management
- Responsible to design highly available and scalable environments
- Responsible for performance tuning of the environments
- Responsible to try out the builds and upgrades and document the procedures
- Responsible to build and maintain the environments
- Responsible to implement observability/monitoring
- Responsible to automate application deployments
- Responsible to plan and implement cloud road map
Required Skills:
- Experience designing secure and stable Kafka platforms.
- Physical deployment of infrastructure across multiple environments.
- Optimization and tuning of Kafka plant for peak performance.
- Standards and patterns development for Kafka usage.
- User guide development and training overviews for supporting teams.
- Provide troubleshooting and best practices methodology for development teams.
- Process automation and new application on-boarding, integration with CICD pipeline.
- Design monitoring solutions and baseline statistics reporting to support the implementation.
- Level 3 support for development teams that are utilizing the platform.
- Planning and execution of infrastructure projects as well as on-boarding of new applications
