Looking for a Kafka Engineer who will provide subject matter expertise in the deployment of Confluent Enterprise Kafka within organization.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science
• At least 7+ years of It experience.
• At least 3+ years of managing Kafka Platforms.
• Sound communication and analytical skills

Responsibilities:

The eligible candidate will be part of Platform Engineering team with the following responsibilities

• Responsible for Kafka Platform engineering
• Responsible to automate the cell/cluster creation and configuration management
• Responsible to design highly available and scalable environments
• Responsible for performance tuning of the environments
• Responsible to try out the builds and upgrades and document the procedures
• Responsible to build and maintain the environments
• Responsible to implement observability/monitoring
• Responsible to automate application deployments
• Responsible to plan and implement cloud road map

Required Skills:

• Experience designing secure and stable Kafka platforms.
• Physical deployment of infrastructure across multiple environments.
• Optimization and tuning of Kafka plant for peak performance.
• Standards and patterns development for Kafka usage.
• User guide development and training overviews for supporting teams.
• Provide troubleshooting and best practices methodology for development teams.
• Process automation and new application on-boarding, integration with CICD pipeline.
• Design monitoring solutions and baseline statistics reporting to support the implementation.
• Level 3 support for development teams that are utilizing the platform.
• Planning and execution of infrastructure projects as well as on-boarding of new applications
