Working Student – Founder’s Associate (f/m/d)

Did you know that one single container ship emits more CO2 than 65,000 cars?

At CargoKite we are keen on changing this by developing the sailing ship of the 21st century. Our autonomous, micro container ship is powered only by wind and consists of two key components: a kite to pull the ship and our unique, patent pending ship
design.

We are currently looking for a founder s associate working student who supports us in our day-to-day challenges. As a founder s associate, you will be working closely with the founding team on a broad range of company building activities such as business development, market research, fundraising, operations as well as strategy development. You will get the opportunity to realize your own creative ideas and take over full responsibility for dedicated work packages.

Tasks

• Work hand in hand with the founders to support with a broad range of tasks (business development, sales, operation planning, go-to-market strategy development etc.)
• Realize your own creative ideas in customer as well as investor presentations
• Present your results in front of different stakeholders
• Analyze existing processes within the company and identify improvement potential
• Support in structuring and executing the next financing round (market research, financial modeling, due diligence preparation etc.)

Requirements

• Master student enrolled in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Management & Technology or related discipline
• Proficient skills in MS office
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Agile and flexible mindset with strong communication skills
• Team player with an interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
• Motivated, independent and target-oriented work approach
• Prior experience in consulting preferable
• Excellent language skills in oral and written English; German is a plus
